I love the idea of adding little Steampunk touches around your home!
It definitely is a good way to express your style, not only in how you dress, but in your most comfortable environment. Plus, it's all very cool.

Totally love the plate with the masonic eye! Oh and the print! It is quite amazing.

Why, why do you torture me so?! *shakes fist at my budget* Ah well, perhaps my latest literary endeavors shall pick up... we'll see, shall we?

Well, you can always add gears or cogs to light switches. Also I have a friend who went the Capt. Nemo route with his home and put port holes on his interior doors. Rather then cutting the door i talked him into putting pictures of things like boiler rooms and long hallways full of pipes into the glass of the port holes, giving the illusion of vast rooms right on the other side of every door.

I love those classic decors! Art is wonderful.

I am in love with this. Anybody experimented with making stuff you have at home "steampunk"? I'm really interested in trying some stuff for holiday presents!
