Steampunk Community

So, my biggest obsession in the entire world is Abraham Lincoln.
The why and how it came to be is kind of a long story that I won't bore you with (unless of course you ask!), but anyone that knows me for longer than five minutes will find this out.
I have all sorts of Lincoln paraphernalia, including books, movies, posters, skateboard, puzzle collage, t-shirts, you name it!
And people are always sending me any crazy picture or meme of good old Abe they can find and when I told them that I was starting to get into Steampunk, they sent me these...ENJOY!

Yeah, I'd have to say that if any of our former presidents was going to be Steampunk it would be Lincoln - hands down.
The man was...kind of a badass. Plus, he already had the sharp suits, top hat, and pocket watch thing down.

You must be stoked about the new Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter movie, then! Have you read the book? What do you think of it? I haven't read it yet, but the trailer looks exciting enough that I think I'd like to give it a try.

Nikki - That costume is the cat's pajamas! I need the next boy in my life to dress up like this for Halloween - or, just any time!
TentacleSociety - I am BEYOND pumped!! The book is so amazing. The way it is written it seems so real; if you believed in vampires, then the storyline is completely plausible..at least in my opinion. I have been waiting for the movie since the book came out and I only have two more months to go. I'm getting a Lincoln half-sleeve before the film comes out, too!
