Interesting that facebook thinks I live in Sydney. I live 20min drive from Byron Bay 10min from the beach.

The 2.5 acres I live on has become a haven for wild life, because the orchard is organic, and word has got out that no animal will be deliberately harmed here. Because we have about 20 Macadamia nut trees we get rats, The cat and the dog used to keep a lid on their numbers, but Zsa Zsa passed away and Kiedy Kat has retired. So it is left to Snakey who lives in the ceiling to control any that set up shop in the house. This has not deterred the field mice who are camped somewhere. Snakey breaks into the house after them some times, which scares the **** out of Kiedy Kat. So we have resident Butcher birds, Magpies, Blue Tongue lizards, Water Dragons, one pond full of frog poles, at least 4 species of frog, Gold fish, way too many spiders (but they prey on pest insects). We also have transient Echidnas, Flying Foxes, Owls, Kites, Ibis, and many more visitors including the odd toxic snake.
